Jeremy S. Chissel, age 32, New Castle resident, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2012 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Delaware County.

 

He was born August 28, 1979 in New Castle, IN., and had resided in New Castle, and Liberty, In., most of his life.

 

He had worked for Pizza King, Pizza Hut, and also for Kroger Grocery Store. He enjoyed family activities, specially sharing time with his daughter. He also liked the outdoors, camping, and will be remembered as a loving father.

 

Left to cherish his memory include: one daughter Shayla Skye Chissel of Springport, IN., mother Pam Sexton (companion: Bobby Craig) of Muncie, IN., two brothers; Danny Sexton (wife: Amber) of New Castle, IN., Josh Reuter, grandmother Myra Chissel of Liberty, IN., aunt Jan Carter (husband: Kimble) of New Castle, IN., uncle Ralph Chissel (wife: Gay) of New Castle, IN., uncle John Chissel (companion: Robin Simpkins) of New Castle, IN., also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

He was preceded in death by: his grandfather Edward Chissel, uncle Mike Chissel, infant daughter Evelyn Rose Chissel.

 

Visitation will be 2 – 5  P.M. Sunday February 5, 2012, at Macer-Hall Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday February 6, 2012 at Macer-Hall Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Ray Boils officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery.

Jeremy i hope when jesus came to take you that he picked you up ans carried you so loving into his arms you had a good heart and would help everyone that would need help i will never forget the day you left this cold mean world cause god took you home on my birthday so now i every year on my birthday i will think of my cousin. jeremy was a great guy he could talk about video games forever. and he knew what he was talking about. i was sad to learn he passed and hope hes finally at peace. he always talked about his baby girl. he said he was lucky his baby got the momma she did. iknow hes at peace and knows his babygirl will be fine and grow up happy and knowing him. he always talked about his brothers and he cared for them a lot. his cousins too. we were locked up together and spoke a lot. he loved to tell stories of his uncle ralphie and john.and he worshiped his grandmother. im very sorry for all you loses. he was a good guy who made bad choices but his heart was pure gold. i know he will watch over his girls forever. rest in peace chissel

jeremy and i were locked up together and he was a special soul. he always talked about his girls. he loved his babygirl more than anything, and was always glad that his child had the mother she did.he talked about his brothers and cousins all the time and how much he loved them. he loved to tell stories about his uncles ralph and john. he treasured his grandmother. ill always remember jeremy writing poems or talking about his video games. he was a very good hearted man. im very sorry for all of your loses. i hope his babys mom knows how much he loved and respected her. the last time i saw chissel right after christmas he was ready to find a way to be with his girls. he said that all the time he just wanted to be with his girl. i know chissel will forever be watching out for them and loving them. i am very sorry for all of your loses. i know he is finally at peace and flying high above the clouds. RIP chissel
