Mindy L. Trout Lee, age 49, New Castle resident, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013 at her residence.
She was born December 2, 1963 in New Castle, Indiana.
She was a 1982 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School. She was a homemaker and had worked for Metaldyne and Riverside Corporation. She currently was a home health aid in Henry County. She was an active member of Open Arms Church where she was involved in several areas of ministry including, outreach, missions, and distribution of food at God’s Grain Bin. She had participated as a team member on 2 mission trips to Indian Reservations, and was planning on a 3rd trip to a South Dakota Indiana Reservation this August. She loved family activities, walking, and reading. Her “heart” was always open to anyone in need.
Left to cherish her loving memory include, her husband, Loring Lee, whom she married June 19, 2008; 1 daughter, Heather Sue Page (husband Elvis) of New Castle, Indiana; mother, Pam Flynn (husband John Allan); father, John Trout of New Castle, Indiana; 1 step sister, Tracy McCulloch (husband Craig) of New Jersey; 1 step brother, Brad Flynn (wife Aimee) of New Castle, Indiana; 1 step nephew; several brothers and sisters in law; and several nieces, nephews, cousins.
She was preceded in death by, her paternal grandparents, John W. and Barbara Trout and her maternal grandparents, Robert and Josephine Morrell.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Open Arms Church (1618 Broad Street New Castle, Indiana 47362). Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at the church with Pastor Paul Davis officiating. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery in New Castle.
