Obituary for David Joseph Greene

David Joseph Greene, age 80 of Mt. Summit, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 28th, 2019 at Henry County Hospital surrounded by his loving family.  He was born February 8, 1939 in Centuria, Wisconsin, the youngest son to Frank and Marjorie Greene. 
He is survived by his Wife of 60 years, Sally Greene (Gilyeat), Son Stephen (wife Leslie) Greene, Daughter Sandra (husband Dan) Dolph, Son Ronald (wife Pam) Greene, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, Sister Elizabeth Knoblick and brother-in-law Michael Gilyeat.
David and his wife Sally retired to Mt. Summit in 2002 from living in the Seattle area for most of their lives. David was a Navy Veteran. He retired from commercial refrigeration. He cherished his wife Sally and two dogs, Tinkerbell and Missy. David loved playing card games, camping and bowling.
Friends and family are welcome to come to a Graveside interment ‪on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 12:00 PM‬ at Mt. Summit Cemetery. 
A celebration of life ‪starts at 2:00 PM‬ at the home of Sally Greene 103 W High St Mt. Summit, IN 47361
Arrangements are handled by Macer-Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
